'Silver Cedar' handicraft festival of Fajr underway: Photos

The 7th Fajr International Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival called ‘Silver Cedar’ is currently underway at the Tehran-based National Museum of Iran.

The festival hosts some 70 works from 12 countries and more than 300 works by Iranian artists.

Various Persian handicrafts and local costumes from different regions and tribes of Iran have been displayed at the festival.

The closing ceremony of the festival is due to take place in Milad Tower.

The winners will be awarded with 7 plaques of ‘Silver Cedar’.

The 9-day festival kicked off on February 15 and will run through February 23, 2023.
